Dialektik der Bilder 8. September, 2020 – 8. December
The exhibition Dialektik der Bilder / The Dialectic of Images examines artistic identities and positions in Hungary from the 1970s to the turn of the millennium, investigating the art scene of the end of socialism and the impacts of the fall of the Iron Curtain.

András Lengyel (b. 1952 in Zirc) and Ernő Tolvaly (b. 1947 in Kispest − d. 2008 in Pécs) belonged to the Hungarian neo-avantgarde generation, the Rózsa Cáfé Circle.
Conversation between East and West
The first real video work of Gábor Bódy is about a highly exciting psychological situation from the 1970s, the era of the iron curtain. Bódy and Marcel Odenbach, his friend from Cologne, communicate silently in front of the camera by blowing soap bubbles.

Sky of Istanbul
The work was created during a trip to Istanbul: Lengyel took pictures of the sky on both the European and the Asian sides of the Bosporus. This is the meeting point of two continents that we may think of as two separate cultural units, yet the sky above them remains the same.
