A narative based public space intervention connecting Prague and Budapest. I am dazzled by the sculptures on the balcony of the Hungarian State Opera House. One of them would suit my purpose much better than all those we have on the roof of Rudolfinum in Prague. I dream about bringing to life the plot from Jiří Weil's novel Mendelssohn is on the Roof. Conference SECONDARY ARCHIVE. WOMEN ARTISTS AND THEIR PRACTICES FROM CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE focuses on bringing closer the heritage of women artists through the lens of the Secondary Archive project.

The experimental documentary is about her art walk on foot from Kassel to Athens in 2017. On the road through Europe, Marinka Limat is collecting encounters, involving people she never met before. Learning from the in between, Limat is unfolding her practice of encountering in front of our eyes.
