Gábor Bódy would have turned 60 in 2006. One of the most talented film directors of the sixties and seventies, he exercised a significant influence on the mode of visual expression in visual art and photography with his experimental films and theoretical writings. Alongside using the traditional genres, Bódy was to be the Hungarian creator of video art, and the establishment of the first international video magazine, Infermental, is also associated with his name.
