Dancing Penguins
Carnival Time Penguin Hysteria at the Ludwig Museum
Free day of programmes for families in the Ludwig Museum
Co-organised by the Palace of Arts and the Ludwig Museum, Dancing Penguins is a free day of programmes, welcoming families to various activities and events within the Palace of Arts and the Ludwig Museum’s exhibition spaces. The programmes involve participation in creative art work, play, and dance, as well as various stage performances.
The underlying topic of the grand family day is the world of carnival, joined with that of animated cartoons. Visitors may also create their own carnival masks and costumes in reference to this topic, for which they can find inspiration from the Museum’s newly opened exhibition, "Arctic Hysteria – New Art from Finland".
The usual interactive programmes for curious children and adults offered by the weekly Palace of Delights events will also be available within the carnival events.
