On the occasion of the Museum Night, a Chinese market opens again at the Ludwig Museum, repeating a successful action from five years ago. During his Western European journeys, the young Chinese photo artist, Csi Peng, was saddened by the fact that Chinese markets were flooded by trash all over Europe. For this reason, he decided to create a market based on a mutual swap, where visitiors can also get into possession of a precious Chinese work of art. The artist made numbered reproductions of one of the pieces of his photo series entitled Spring Forward, which the visitor can exchange with any device, brought to the event, used for drawing, painting or any creative activity - pencils, rubbers, crayons, markers, acryl, watercolour or tempera (even second-hand). These will serve to help the Igazgyöngy Foundation and Basic Art Educational Institution at Berettyóújfalu. Therefore, the visitor cannot only become part of the spiritual Chinese-Hunagrian commerce, visiting the museum's one-night Chinese market, but can also contribute to basic art education, talent care and the development of pupils in socially marginal positions through this small gesture.
