The Esterházy Private Foundation and the Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art cordially invite you and your partner to the Audience Prize Announcement of the Esterházy Art Award 2023
Founded in 2009, the aim of the Esterhazy Art Award is to support contemporary Hungarian art and its international exchange. The prize of €5000 per person is awarded every two years to three Hungarian artists under the age of 45 selected by an independent jury. It is an open call eligible to all Hungarian artists working in the field of painting and other associated techniques. The 18 nominees of 2023 were selected by the jury from a pool of 262 applicants.
This year, for the first time, we’re announcing the Esterházy Art Award Audience Prize. The artist who receives the most votes will participate in the Esterházy Art Award winners’ exhibition opening on 14 April 2024 in the White Hall of the Esterházy Castle in Eisenstadt (Austria).
