The idea of the work was born in 1991, and is based on a super eight film from ten years earlier, showing a little girl playing on a ground. The artist presented the attention, curiosity of a child who is discovering the world around her. He worked out a new system of perspective of a mathematical and computer based model. This is the so called „system of water drop perspective”. This perspective, unlike the traditional renaissance one that maps the world from one privileged fixed point, is a perpetually changing one, the world as if a sphere, enfolds the little, watching kid in its focus. This early work of Tamás Waliczky is both innovative in its spherical perspective and poetic in its topic. It was made during his residency in ZKM, Karslruhe, Germany, in 1992-93. The revolutionary and original animation is listed among the 100 most important works of the 20th century by a Japan computer journal (Toshio Iguchi: „THE 20th CENTURY 100 ART MATRIX”).
