Semicircle – discussion on the masterpiece of the month

Every month we focussed on a major artwork in the museum’s collection, i.e., ‘the masterpiece of the month’. What makes a piece of art that was created a mere few decades ago interesting? Is it its value that is more important or rather the artist who has created it? Maybe the related personal stories, happenings or thoughts are the ones that captivate us?
In front of the artwork to be discussed, there were 15 chairs, a friendly face, and valuable information - in Semicircle. It meant joined thinking and an exchange of views centred around a work of art.
