Musical inspirations for the exhibition Slow Life. Radical Practices of the Everyday iamyank's half-hour Slow Live electro-acoustic room concert
The musical performance is based on a combination of the original and slow-motion versions of natural and artificial sounds, without the rhythmic functions that underpin the usual perception of time, with the aim of instilling in the listener an alternative sense of time.
iamyank (János Herold) is one of the most versatile electronic music producers and performers in Hungary. In his music, he is free to handle the boundaries of the genre, constantly expanding and crossing them, creating his own special world of sound, with which he has been in constant experimentation ever since. He is currently working on his second major album, looking for common ground between electronic thinking and live instrumental playing.
