BING BANG. Expanding Collection Horizons

Since its foundation, the museum’s collection has grown by more than a thousand items. Our collection exhibitions are mostly curatorial selections based on a specific theme or a particular characteristic. This new selection shows the evolution of the museum’s collection, starting from the distribution of acquisitions over time. The exhibition is presented in chronological order, in separate sections that provide a cross-section of the collection’s continuously evolving material. Big Bang… is both a theme park and data visualisation; it is also the museum’s self-reflection on the history, development, potential and aims of collecting.
