István Csákány born in 1978 in Sepsiszentgyörgy (Romania). Finished the of Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 2006. Between 2009 and 2012 was Dekovits Gyula Fine Art grant. He was exhibiting a monumental installation (Ghost Keeping) at Documenta in 2012. His works are part of the collections of MUDAM (Luxembourg) and the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht.
