EMI – a Japanese first name for women with a double meaning: „blessing” and „beauty”. Yvette Bozsik combines elements of traditional dances from Japan and the Far East with her own style in this video-performance. Introspection and opening up to the world, meditation and breaking out, eastern and western attitudes, values, and mentality clash and make an effect on each other in this solo.

Group Therapy
The central issue of this piece is the true personality of the dancers, and the honest exposure that of. The choreography developed through the course of a group therapy conducted by a psychiatrist. The sessions were filmed, and exerpts of them were later incorporated into the performance.
The dance piece is presented by the six core members of Bozsik Yvette Dance Company, who were made to take a look at their personalities and its deeper regions in a convex mirror, and thus to form a sounder picture of themselves.
