One of the most interesting contemporary art event of the season, the HANTAI exhibition at the Ludwig Museum - Museum of Contemporary Art, closes by the end of August. On this occasion, the museum organises a special evening on Saturday the 30th of August 2014, starting at 6 p.m. with exciting programmes where the allied arts are given a prominent role.
Simon Hantai, the Hungarian born abstract painter who lived and worked in Paris, is foremost known for his unique creative technique, the so-called pliage that is given a special focus in this retrospective oeuvre-exhibition.
Programme:
6 p.m. – Extraordinary guided tour with Daniel Hantai, the artist's son
8 p.m. – morningdeer concert in the HANTAI exhibition rooms
from 7 p.m. until midnight – DJ Von Yodi [Soul Cure] on the terrasse
After 5 p.m., to attend the programme, visitors need a wristband that is available for the usual exhibition ticket prices (full-price ticket: 2200 HUF, discounted ticket: 1100 HUF). No special charges neither special discounts (for journalists, pedagogues, etc.) apply.
