Music has been an integral part of the cinematic experience since the beginning of filmmaking. In the golden age of of sound films a catchy song or melody played a key role in the success of filmmaking.
It is no coincidence that the most prestigious composers of the age gave their names to Hungarian films. To mention only the largest: Pál Ábrahám, Dénes Buday, Mihály Eisemann, de Károly Fries, Szabolcs Fényes, Alfréd Márkus and Tibor Polgár.
The melodies will be presented by opera singer Gábor Dániel and choral singer Bori Orbán. Accompanied by piano: Pánczél Kristóf.
The film-historical curiosities of the songs are described by theater historian Zsolt Péter.
