Lukas Truniger is a visual artist, composer and musician, engaging in the areas of multimedia installations, sculptural objects, performances and the creation of new musical instruments. He is fascinated by the intangible, the invisible and the complex in nature such as emergence and biological interactions, as well as in society in the form of language, (artificial) intelligence and human infrastructures. To explore their inherent aesthetics he applies self-made code and circuits, hijacked tools and objects of mass consumption to establish singular experiences challenging the modalities of our perception. His works have been shown in the context of renowned exhibitions and festivals worldwide.
