17.00 Tactile works - Exhibition opening in the Westkunst – Ostkunst exhibition
The Tactile Tender in Ludwig Museum this year relates to the museum's collection display. More precisely to artworks where the different gender roles of different generations are being interpreted. Applicants chose the most fitting artwork to their interest, and age and had to create an object, that symbolises womanhood or masculinity. This can be a piece of clothing, furniture, household object, sculpture etc. The point is that it should be tactile for visually impaired people. The exhibition of the artworks will be opened on the 3rd floor Exhibition Hall in the exhibition: Westkunst - Ostkunst. Selection from the collection.

18.00 – 23.00 Artwork made of LEGO?
Why not! With the help of the Tekerd! group from Nyíregyháza, you can build Roy Lichtenstein's Vicki out of 31.600 pieces of 1x1 cm LEGO toy building blocks. Besides that you can build 3D LEGO objects, and a pop-up exhibition of the works of the Tekerd! group

18.00 – 19.00 Extraordinary psychologycal tour in the exhibition: Westkunst – Ostkunst
Special edition of our well known and popular psychologycal walk called Our relations with others and ourselves.

Conversation with György Dragomán – Anna Szabó T. writer-couple in the exhibition: Péter Türk Retrospective. Hosted by László Valuska (Könyves Magazin)

19.00 – 19.30 Gain a unique insight into the exhibition Permanent Revolution. Ukrainian Art Today | Curator's Talk
The first major presentation of the Ukrainian contemporary art scene in Hungary is a special occasion to look into the vibrant art of a country full of tensions, which is still largely in the blind spot of the European cultural area. Learn more about the exciting contemporary art of Ukraine. Take the opportunity to ask questions from the assistant curator of the exhibition: Viktória Popovics

19.30 – 20.30 László Kollár-Klemencz concert in the exhibition Permanent Revolution. Ukrainian Art Today
László Kollár-Klemencz is the frontman, lead singer and songwriter of the band Kistehén, and also a member of Budapest Bár and Rájátszás. Writer, and short movie director. His new album called Rengeteg is his third solo album closely follows the modd and athmosphere of the previous albums Ember a fán and Legesleges.

21.00 – 23.00 Nocturnal Animals – Exclusive movie night with András Réz film critic
Director: Tom Ford
Starring: Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon, Aaron Johnson
Plot: A successful Los Angeles art-gallery owner's idyllic life is marred by the constant traveling of her handsome second husband. While he is away, she is shaken by the arrival of a manuscript written by her first husband, who she has not seen in years. The manuscript tells the story of a teacher who finds a trip with his family turning into a nightmare. As Susan reads the book, it forces her to examine her past and confront some dark truths.

Improvisative dance theatre in the Westkunst-Ostkunst exhibition. Dancers will reflect and react to the artworks and generous spaces in the exhibition hall.

22.00 – 22.45 Late Night Walk Behind The Scenes
What is the similarity between chocolate and an oil painting?
Can you sit on an artwork?
Can a skeleton really be in the closet?
Ludwig Museum's conservation and collection care department will answer all these questions. Ágota GŐGÖS and Béla KÓNYA will introduce their interesting work to the public.

Irregular guided tour, behind the scenes-stories, artwork-gossips on the exhibition Westkunst – Ostkunst. A selection from the collection. The tour will be lead by Zsófia SUGÁR

OUTDOOR PROGRAMMES

15.00 – 17.00 Walk from the Liberty bridge customs house to the Valyo-port (next to Ludwig Museum)
The exhibition “Liberty Bridge – New Urban Horizons” is organized by Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art within the framework of the 16th International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia. This is why we start our walk from the Liberty Bridge.  During the 2 hours walk we'll discover new uses and possibilities of Danube bank with the help of our Budapest Space-occupiing booklet made in cooperation with The Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport.
