The Hungarian Asphalt Ltd (Magyar Aszfalt Kft.) has announced its painting competition and art prize for the second time.
This year the Jury awarded the following young artists from 75 entries:
1st Prize: Levente Baranyai (b. 1966)
2nd Prize: József Szurcsik (b. 1959)
3rd Prize: Róbert Csáki (b.1964)
Special Prize for emerging artist:
Gábor Erdélyi (b. 1970)

The Austrian Bau Holding AG (with Hungarian Asphalt Ltd as its biggest branch company in Hungary) started its collecting activity in 1989. Based on their model, MAGYAR ASZFALT KFT. started its own competition (for painters under 40) last year.
