The workshop is an invitation to experience the characteristics of domesticated animals and their levels of sentience in a playful way. The artist's endeavor is to create an 'ethical space' for a conversation involving different perspectives and contemplating on the nature of womanhood and motherhood of non-human animals. Besides the sharing session, you can expect slow movement exercises and a deep relaxation. The event takes place inside the installation created for the "Handle with Care" exhibition.
Judit Kis is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher, whose practice combines digital content with installations of objects and often expands into participatory performances and community engagements. Currently, she is pursuing a doctoral degree to explore the social impact of self-defining and self-revealing performances with a focus on self-care, mental health, and alternative healing methodologies. Enchanting Souls is a new participatory and installative work that encompasses her research on animal welfare, plant based diets and the connection between our digestion and mental health.

A Handle with Care című kiállítás az élet törékenységére, a gondoskodásra szoruló egyének és közösségek sérülékenységére, a szociális ellátórendszer repedéseire és hiányosságaira utal. Ugyanakkor magára a múzeum feladatára, a műtárgyakról való gondoskodásra is vonatkoztatható, ami újraértelmezett jelentésében a tárgyak mellett a közösségekre, gondoskodói szakmákban dolgozókra, a láthatatlan munkát végzőkre és a marginalizált élethelyzetekre egyaránt kiterjeszthető.
